Radio & Broadcast
Lydia Liebman has played an active role in radio broadcasting in Boston and New York City. She was the creator, producer and host of Reeds & Deeds II, that aired Sundays 6-8pm on www.wecb.fm. On air for 8 seasons, Reeds & Deeds II featured an eclectic mix of classic recordings, new artist features, underground cuts and exclusive interviews. Liebman could also be heard on the award-winning New England radio station WERS 88.9FM on Tuesday evenings from 10pm-2am hosting the Secret Spot: Boston’s home for R&B, soul and slow jams.
Behind the scenes, Liebman was the General Manager of Internet radio station WECB from 2011-2014 and an Administrative Assistant at WERS.
In 2012, Liebman interned at Sirius XM’s Real Jazz channel under the guidance of jazz broadcast veteran Mark Ruffin.
In 2016, she was a guest host and guest producer on the Checkout from WBGO.
Her experience in radio broadcasting has led to a myriad of opportunities- she has led interviews for JazzBoston with some of the city's most important jazz industry dignitaries and has hosted a myriad of different events including a stage at the 2012 Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival.
