Known for her work with Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Demi Lovato, saxophonist Adison Evans has steadily solidified herself as a rising jazz superstar with the Spring 2016 release of her debut album “Hero”, which has garnered worldwide acclaim and soared to the top of the jazz radio charts. To present selections from her deeply personal work “Hero” Adison enlists pianist Silvano Monasterios, bassist Dave Baron and drummer Roberto Giaquinto along with trumpeter Dave Neves on the first set. The 9:30 set will include internationally recognized saxophonist Steve Wilson, who Adison considers one of her true heroes and mentors.

Adison Evans is a dynamic millennial who has shared the stage with several legendary artists including: Trisha Yearwood, Nicki Minaj, Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride, Terence Blanchard, and many more. Evans made her debut in the pop world playing in the 2013 Superbowl with Beyoncé. Upon graduating from the Juilliard School, Evans embarked on a two-and-a-half-year adventure playing and touring with Beyoncé in the “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour,” followed by Beyoncé and Jay-Z in the history making “On The Run” Tour. Evans can also be heard on the album that crashed iTunes, “Beyoncé”, and has been seen in many of her music videos including “Countdown,” the HBO Beyoncé specials, and Beyoncé DVDs.

Evans combines pure excitement with a soulful, big saxophone sound and a contagious smile to create one compelling performance after another. She composes music influenced by her incredibly vast background in music, included her journey growing up playing jazz and classical music, attending the Juilliard School, to traveling the world touring with pop star, Beyonce, to then living abroad, mostly in beautiful Tuscany, and then continuing to travel the world on her own. “I’m in constant search of all things beautiful in the world,” she says; a sentiment that is reflected in her unique sweeping melody driven compositions. “I hope listeners will take away a feeling of hope from this show….I urge audiences to try and see components of their individual day in a different light, from a different perspective,” says Adison.
