Lydia's Grammy Night

Stroudsburg High School 2010 graduate Lydia Liebman found herself on the red carpet of Sunday night’s Grammy awards in New York City. She wasn’t quite expecting the scene she was about to encounter.

One of the Stroudsburg-raised jazz publicist’s clients, The Baylor Project, was nominated in two categories; best jazz vocal album and best traditional R&B performance.

Liebman should be used to this type of attention. After all, her father, famed jazz saxophonist Dave Liebman, is a multi Grammy-nominated artist.

Proper Kid Problems

Our last summer profile.  She was referred to me by Alex Romero (we featured him here last month) as quote “a fabulous gal, with great energy and simply stunning style.” Based on the photographs, I’d say he was right on all fronts.  Lydia uses a monochromatic foundation to allow bold, statement pieces like her Hermés scarf or color block purse to standout against a blank canvas.  Outfit aside, the best thing about Lydia is how she describes her style.  My favorite part of her quote? “All you need is a trusted cobbler and tailor.”  Definitely going to be stealing that line at some point…"
