In a fairly ambitious frame of mind, this keen alto saxophonist will attempt to play one tune from each of the ten decades of recorded jazz. At his side for this exercise in large-scale thinking will be the trumpeters Jon Faddis and Jeremy Pelt and the saxophonists Eric Alexander and James Carter.
